Happy New Year! We know everyone is making resolutions about getting more clients or posting more Reels. But at Luxom Lash, our favorite resolution is boring but profitable: Stop wasting money on supplies.
If you are a busy lash artist, you’ve probably experienced the panic of running out of 11mm lashes mid-set, or finding three bottles of expired adhesive in the back of a drawer. That is literal cash going in the trash.
As previous studio owners ourselves, we know that inventory management is the unsexy secret to a six-figure income. Here is how we are organizing our stock for 2026.
1. The "Lash Cart Audit"
Take 20 minutes this week to empty your entire cart.

Check Expiration Dates: Adhesives usually have a shelf life of 4-6 weeks once opened. If you didn't write the date on the bottle when you opened it, toss it. It’s not worth the retention complaint.

Consolidate Trays: Do you have five trays of D-Curl 0.05 that each have two lines left? Combine them! Clear out the clutter so you can see what you actually have.
2. The "3-Month Rule" for Ordering
Shipping costs add up. If you are ordering supplies every week, you are wasting time and paying too much for shipping. We recommend the Quarterly Bulk Buy. Look at your calendar. The Fix: Store unopened adhesive in a cool, dark place (or a specific lash fridge if your room gets hot). Once opened, keep it in an airtight adhesive container with a silica packet to prevent moisture from sneaking in.
